Welcome to the Digital Health and Care Wales Shared Medication Record Project

Overview

The Shared Medicines Record focusses on bringing together multiple, disparate systems and data silos who produce and consume digital medication records into a “single source of truth”. This will also contain allergies, intolerances, and other sensitivity records at a patient level. SMR will leverage current data sources such as Welsh GP Record and Welsh Clinical Portal to present a common API to support product and dose based prescribing use cases for DHCW, NHS Wales and 3^rd Party systems to consume.
